Spring Break Weekend in San Francisco
This is a project that allowed for students to understand the process of creating a weekend getaway. The trip was to be planned according to the specific requirements, and for my group we had to acquire to the taste of 5 high school friends. Throughout this process I learned how budgeting works and how to think about what other people would like. This was the first project that I felt comfortable creating and presenting, as it challenged my skills of creativity. The only difference I would incorporate next time would be to work on the text and visuals to make it more eye-catching and appealing. |

Rock n' Roll 1950's Theme Party
This is one off the presentations projects for AOHT, Academy of Hospitality and Tourism, that I had to present in from of important individuals from 'William Sonoma'. The project was to create and holiday theme party for a group of 50 - 100 participants. We learned important speaker skills as well as improving our knowledge to budget within a price range for the party. This is important for me because I got to incorporate my ideas of decorations and themes. I also presented with upmost precision and confidence. What I would do differently for this project is to focus on making food items more relative to the 1950's tradition without sacrificing authenticity. |

SouthDog Tours: Travel Agency
This was the most time consuming project, and for that exact reason this will be number one on my projects list. The idea was to make a fictional tour around a specific neighborhood in San Francisco. My group choose a combination of two locations, and thus challenging our creative senses into choosing locations best fit to a group selected theme. After that we made a video/ movie for the selected locations and pieced it all together make full tour. Finally we presented the tour at S.F. Travels Agency, which was the highlight of the project (picture below is a view from S.F. Travels' balcony). Something I would do differently in future cases is not to showcase anything irrelevant or inappropriate to the presentation. |
